Faxon Firearms AR-15 338 ARC Barrel with 5R 1:5 Twist, Threaded, Part Number 15B338A5P115NGQ-5R-NP3

The Faxon Firearms AR-15 338 ARC Barrel is designed for builders and shooters assembling a compatible AR-15 platform chambered in 338 ARC. Part number 15B338A5P115NGQ-5R-NP3 combines a pistol-length gas port configuration with a threaded muzzle and a durable black matte finish. Its purpose-built profile provides a practical foundation for a customized rifle or pistol build where caliber compatibility, barrel configuration, and component quality are important considerations.
The barrel uses 5R rifling with a 1:5 twist rate to support the characteristics of the 338 ARC cartridge. The 5R rifling design features carefully arranged lands and grooves intended to provide a consistent projectile path while helping reduce traditional sharp-edged rifling contact. The fast twist rate is matched to the cartridge specification and should be considered when selecting ammunition, muzzle accessories, and other components for the completed firearm.
This Faxon Firearms barrel is threaded for compatibility with suitable muzzle devices, suppressor mounts, or other accessories that match the barrel’s thread specifications. It does not include sights, making it suitable for builds using an optic, low-profile sighting system, or other separately selected aiming solution. Before installation, verify chambering, gas system requirements, muzzle thread compatibility, and all applicable local and state regulations. Professional installation and function testing by a qualified gunsmith are recommended to confirm proper fit, headspace, and safe operation.
