The Ruger Precision Rimfire 22LR is a highly versatile bolt-action sporting rifle designed for precision shooting and target practice. Featuring a molded, one-piece chassis and adjustable buttstock assembly constructed from durable glass-filled nylon, this rifle offers exceptional strength, stiffness, and stability to ensure consistent accuracy with every shot. The adjustable buttstock includes a flat Picatinny bag rider for easy attachment of a rear monopod, a molded-in tether point for your squeeze bag, and a metal quick-detach pocket for securing a sling, providing customizable support options for various shooting scenarios.
Equipped with the Quick-Fit adjustable stock, users can easily modify the length of pull and comb height to achieve a proper fit over different shooter sizes, clothing, or shooting positions. Indicating marks molded into the chassis facilitate quick return to previous stock positions, saving time during target shooting or hunting sessions. The big-gun bolt throw adjustment allows shooters to switch from a rimfire 1.5-inch bolt throw to a shorter 3-inch centerfire bolt throw, reducing the risk of short-stroking during rapid-fire or competitive shooting.
The rifle features the renowned Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger, which can be externally adjusted for trigger pulls ranging from 2.25 to 5 pounds, with the adjustment wrench conveniently stored within the stock compartment. Ruger’s AR-pattern pistol grip and safety selector provide a maximum control layout, including an extended reach and a reversible safety selector set at 45 degrees, compatible with most AR-style grips and controls. The anodized Picatinny scope base with 30 MOA elevation enables enhanced long-range shooting capabilities right out of the box.
The oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation, similar to Ruger’s Precision Rifle, while the 15-inch aluminum free-float handguard is black hard-coat anodized and features Magpul M-LOK slots on all four sides for flexible mounting of M-LOK-compatible accessories and scope clearance. The cold hammer-forged target barrel made from 1137 alloy steel provides ultra-precise rifling for excellent accuracy, and it can be easily replaced by a qualified gunsmith using AR-style wrenches and headspace gauges. The 1/2-inch-28 threaded barrel allows the attachment of muzzle devices such as silencers or suppressors, with a factory-installed thread protector covering both the threads and crown.
Designed to accept all 10/22® magazines, including the included 15-round BX-15® magazine, this rifle offers ample capacity for extended shooting sessions.
