The Ruger Precision Rimfire 22LR (Part Number: G8401) is designed for precision shooting and versatile customization. Its molded, one-piece chassis and adjustable synthetic buttstock are manufactured with glass-filled nylon, providing strength, stiffness, and stability to ensure consistent accuracy with every shot. The stock features a flat Picatinny bag rider for rear monopod attachment, a molded-in tether point for your squeeze bag, and a metal QD pocket to secure a sling, making it adaptable for various shooting scenarios. The Quick-Fit adjustable stock allows rapid adjustment of length of pull and comb height, ensuring a proper fit for shooters of different sizes and preferences, while molded indication marks help quickly return to previous positions. The big-gun bolt throw adjustment offers the flexibility to switch from a rimfire 1-1/2" bolt throw to a short-action 3" centerfire bolt throw, minimizing the risk of short-stroking during rapid fire or competitions. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger can be externally tuned for a pull weight ranging from 2.25 to 5 pounds, with a wrench stored conveniently within the stock compartment. The AR-pattern pistol grip and safety selector provide extended reach and easy access to the 45° reversible safety, compatible with most AR-style grips and controls. The rifle features an anodized Picatinny scope base with 30 MOA of elevation built-in, enhancing long-range shooting capabilities right out of the box. An oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation, similar to Ruger’s Precision Rifle, while the 15" aluminum free-float handguard, finished with black hard-coat anodizing, includes Magpul M-LOK slots on all four sides for mounting accessories and scope clearance. Its cold hammer-forged target barrel from 1137 alloy steel guarantees excellent accuracy and can be easily replaced by a qualified gunsmith using standard AR-style tools. The threaded barrel accepts standard muzzle accessories, including suppressors, with a factory-installed thread protector covering the crown. This rifle also accepts all 10/22® magazines and includes two 10-round BX-1 magazines. Weighing approximately 6.8 pounds and measuring about 38.63 inches overall, the Ruger Precision Rimfire is built for precision, adaptability, and durability, making it an excellent choice for target shooting, varmint hunting, or training.
