Description
Safety Duplex Cable - 18/2 AWG - Red/Yellow - Flat - 250'
Ancor safety duplex cable features red and yellow Marine Grade primary conductors (correctly color-coded to ABYC standards) in a white common jacket that is made for easy removal while providing the best abrasion resistance available. These cables exceed UL 1426 standards and are made from the highest quality ultra flexible (Type 3/Class K) tinned copper stranding that provides maximum protection against corrosion and electrolysis while resisting fatigue due to vibration and flexing. The premium vinyl insulation is rated at 600V, 105C dry and 75C wet, stays flexible even in extreme cold (-40F/C) and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion and ultra-violet radiation.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (dehp) which is known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to P65Warnings.ca.gov.
The Ancor Safety Duplex Cable with part number 124925 is designed for reliable marine and electrical applications requiring durable, high-quality wiring. This 18/2 AWG cable features red and yellow conductors, correctly color-coded according to ABYC standards, for easy identification and safe installation. The conductors are housed within a white common jacket that allows easy removal and provides excellent abrasion resistance, ensuring long-term performance in demanding environments. Crafted from ultra-flexible Type 3/Class K tinned copper stranding, this cable offers maximum protection against corrosion and electrolysis, while also resisting fatigue caused by vibration and constant flexing, making it suitable for dynamic marine and industrial settings.
The insulation on this cable is made from premium vinyl rated at 600V, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 105°C in dry conditions and 75°C when wet. It remains flexible even in extreme cold temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C), and provides outstanding resistance to saltwater, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion, and UV radiation. These features ensure the cable performs reliably across a broad range of harsh conditions, extending its service life and maintaining safety standards. The high-quality construction of the Ancor Safety Duplex Cable makes it an ideal choice for wiring systems that demand durability, flexibility, and compliance with safety standards in marine, automotive, and industrial applications.
Note: This product contains chemicals such as di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), which may pose health risks. For more information, refer to the California Proposition 65 warning link provided. This cable is not classified for truck freight or oversized shipping, simplifying procurement for marine and industrial projects.
