Description
Tilted Element Thru-Hull
Minimize Your Drag
The P19 model have been the standard in low-profile models for many years. Their large sensitive ceramics allow deep echosounding up to 206M (700'). These nearly flush units minimize drag as only 5mm (2/10") of the housing extends outside of the hull. The plastic P19 provides a vertical beam without a fairing. Inside the housing, the ceramic element is tilted to provide built-in deadrise compensation. The resulting vertical beam provides excellent echo returns for moreaccurate depth readings.

The Garmin P19 Nylon 20 Tilt Thru-Hull Transducer (Part Number 010-10218-22) is designed for cruisers and sailboats up to 30 feet, offering precise depth measurement and optional temperature data. Its low-profile, nearly flush housing extends only about 2/10 inch outside the hull, significantly reducing drag and improving vessel performance. The large sensitive ceramic element inside the tilted housing allows for deep echosounding up to 700 feet, making it suitable for various marine environments. The built-in deadrise compensation through the tilt angle ensures vertical beam alignment, resulting in clearer echo returns and more accurate depth readings. This transducer is an ideal choice for boaters seeking reliable, high-performance sonar capabilities without compromising hull integrity or speed.
Designed with versatile applications in mind, the Garmin P19 transducer is compatible with cruising powerboats and sailboats, providing essential data for navigation and safety. Its right-angle cable exit minimizes headroom issues and protects the cable when stepped on, enhancing durability. The included rubber washer ensures a secure fit on irregular hull surfaces, while the plastic housing adheres to ABYC H-27 standards, ensuring safety and quality. An optional temperature sensor can be added to expand functionality, providing real-time water temperature data to assist with navigation, fishing, or environmental monitoring.
Overall, the Garmin P19 Nylon 20 Tilt Transducer combines advanced technology with practical design, delivering accurate depth and temperature measurements in a compact, low-drag package. Whether for routine navigation or fishing applications, this transducer offers dependable performance and easy installation for small to mid-sized boats, making it an excellent addition to your marine electronics system.
