Photon uses state-of-the-art video processing technology combined with AI analytics to enhance its ultra high definition 4K (3840 x 2160) output, producing full color, real-time (25Hz) video in virtually pitch black conditions. Even in moonless skies, with just the faintest starlight, Photons cutting-edge processor analyzes each of its 8.3 million pixels, dynamically boosting and enhancing the output stream.

In addition to the cameras dynamic video processing, an integrated soft white LED illuminator is included to enhance visibility at short range.

Designed to overcome the shortcomings of expensive thermal imaging cameras, Photon is not bound by strict export controls, doesnt struggle in low thermal contrast scenarios, and isnt affected by lead time issues accentuated by geopolitical conflicts.

The cameras staggering ultra high definition output instantly adds value to leading chart-plotters offering 4K support, such as Garmins superb 9000 series range. Even if your display cant offer UHD, Photon can be configured to output video as required.

As the camera is powered via IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), installation couldnt be simpler, requiring a single CAT5 cable, and just 4 drill holes (plus cable entry).
