Jabsco flexible impellers can be fitted to most makes and models of bronze flexible impeller engine cooling, bilge, transfer and general purpose pumps.
Jabsco flexible impellers are subjected to rigorous quality processes to ensure reliable, efficient and long lasting performance.

Replace all impellers at least once every year, or sooner, depending on the engine duty. When the installation is correct an impeller may last for several years, but it is always advisable to stick to a schedule of preventative, rather than corrective, maintenance.

Replacing impellers is easy. By removing the end cover screws, it is possible to remove the impeller by using either a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool, or channel lock pliers, to grip the hub of the impeller. Dont use screwdrivers as they may damage the face of the pump body, causing leaks, and they can be dangerous in confined spaces.

Always carry spare impellers on board in case of emergency. The impeller is one of the most vital components of the engine cooling system and should always be treated as such.

Always grease new impellers. Firstly, it makes it easier to install the impeller into the pump bore, and secondly it gives added protection to the impeller during initial prime. After replacing the gasket and end cover the pump is ready to use.

  • The Jabsco Impeller Kit (Part Number: 9200-0023-P) is designed to deliver reliable performance in engine cooling, bilge, transfer, and general-purpose pumps. Crafted from durable nitrile material, this impeller features ten blades that efficiently move fluids, ensuring your system operates smoothly. The single flat drive type provides a secure fit, while the brass insert enhances durability and wear resistance. Its compact size makes it suitable for a variety of pump models, making it an essential component for maintenance and repair tasks.
Regular replacement of the impeller, ideally once every year or sooner based on engine duty, is crucial for optimal performance. When installed correctly, a high-quality impeller can last several years, but adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule minimizes the risk of unexpected failures. Replacing the impeller is straightforward; by removing the end cover screws, you can easily access the impeller using a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool or channel lock pliers to grip the hub. Avoid using screwdrivers to prevent damage to the pump face or causing leaks, especially in confined spaces. Always carry spare impellers onboard for emergencies, as the impeller is a vital component of the cooling system.
Applying grease to the impeller prior to installation simplifies the process and offers initial protection during priming. After replacing the gasket and end cover, the pump is ready for operation. Proper maintenance of this impeller ensures efficient cooling and prolongs the lifespan of your pump system.
