Description

12/3 AWG Triplex Cable - Black/Green/White - 1,000'

12 AWG Triplex boat cable is commonly used for AC circuits in boats and recreational vehicles. It is an ideal choice when looking at multiconductor boat cables. Pacer Group manufactures 16 AWG triplex cable in the USA for longevity and easy installation. How is that accomplished It starts with finely stranded tinned copper conductors. These conductors prevent corrosion and also allow the cable to be flexible.

Another important aspect of triplex boat cable is the insulation. The PVC insulation is designed specifically for protection from moisture and fatigue. These conductors also allow the cable to be flexible. Flexibility is essential when working in enclosed marine spaces. The PVC insulation is designed for protection from moisture and fatigue. It is created during the extrusion process. The extrusion process for this cable fills the voids between the conductors. This process eliminates any possibility of moisture or air build up in the wires. To make it even better, talcum powder is coated on the wires. This is done to allow for the easy removal of the jacket during installation.

The Pacer 12/3 AWG Triplex Marine Cable is designed for robust electrical connections in boats, recreational vehicles, and other marine applications. This 1,000-foot spool features three color-coded conductors—black, green, and white—making wiring straightforward and organized. Crafted with finely stranded tinned copper conductors, this cable offers excellent flexibility and corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding marine environments. The PVC insulation is engineered to withstand moisture, fatigue, and exposure to various chemicals, providing reliable protection and durability. The extrusion process fills the voids between conductors, preventing moisture or air buildup that could compromise electrical integrity. Additionally, a talcum powder coating on the conductors allows for easy jacket removal during installation, simplifying setup in tight or complex spaces. This triplex cable is UL Standard 1426, complies with U.S.C.G 33 CFR part 183, and meets ABYC E-11.16 standards, assuring quality and safety for marine wiring projects. Rated for 600 volts, it resists acids, alkali, abrasion, flames, gasoline, oil, and moisture, making it suitable for various harsh environments. The flat jacket design facilitates easy routing and stripping, while the flexible PVC insulation ensures the cable can be maneuvered in confined areas without damage. Whether used for AC circuits or general wiring, this Pacer triplex cable provides a reliable, high-quality solution for marine electrical needs, ensuring safety and longevity in challenging conditions.

Features:

  • Stranded, tinned copper conductors for corrosion resistance and flexibility
  • Color-coded conductors for easy identification and wiring accuracy
  • Tough PVC jacket designed for moisture, fatigue, and chemical resistance
  • Highly flexible construction for ease of installation in tight spaces
  • Easy to strip and route, simplifying marine wiring tasks
