Description

14/3 AWG Triplex Cable - Black/Green/White - 1,000'

14 AWG Triplex boat cable is commonly used for AC circuits in boats and recreational vehicles. It is an ideal choice when looking at multiconductor boat cables. Pacer Group manufactures 16 AWG triplex cable in the USA for longevity and easy installation. How is that accomplished It starts with finely stranded tinned copper conductors. These conductors prevent corrosion and also allow the cable to be flexible.

Another important aspect of triplex boat cable is the insulation. The PVC insulation is designed specifically for protection from moisture and fatigue. These conductors also allow the cable to be flexible. Flexibility is essential when working in enclosed marine spaces. The PVC insulation is designed for protection from moisture and fatigue. It is created during the extrusion process. The extrusion process for this cable fills the voids between the conductors. This process eliminates any possibility of moisture or air build up in the wires. To make it even better, talcum powder is coated on the wires. This is done to allow for the easy removal of the jacket during installation.

The Pacer 14/3 AWG Triplex Marine Cable is designed for reliable power distribution in boats and recreational vehicles. Manufactured in the USA by Pacer, this cable features finely stranded, tinned copper conductors that resist corrosion and provide exceptional flexibility, making installation in tight spaces much easier. The color-coded conductors—black, green, and white—aid in proper wiring and troubleshooting, ensuring safety and compliance on marine projects. The tough PVC jacket offers excellent protection from moisture, abrasion, and fatigue, which are common challenges in marine environments. Its flat shape aids in routing along confined spaces, while the extrusion process fills the voids between conductors, preventing moisture and air buildup that could compromise performance. Coated with talcum powder, the jacket is easy to strip during installation, saving time and effort. This cable is rated for up to 600 volts and is resistant to acids, alkali, gasoline, oil, and moisture, making it suitable for demanding marine applications. It conforms to UL Standard 1426, U.S.C.G 33 CFR part 183, and ABYC E-11.16, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The flexible PVC insulation withstands temperatures from -20°C to 105°C, providing durability across various environmental conditions. Whether used for AC circuits or other electrical connections on your vessel, this 1,000-foot spool offers a dependable solution for your marine wiring needs, combining longevity, ease of installation, and high performance.

Features:

  • Stranded, tinned copper conductors for corrosion resistance and flexibility
  • Color-coded conductors for easy identification and wiring accuracy
  • Tough PVC jacket providing moisture, abrasion, and fatigue protection
  • Highly flexible design for easy routing in confined spaces
  • Easy to strip and install with coated talcum powder for smooth jacket removal
