Description

14/3 AWG Triplex Cable - Black/Green/White - 500'

14 AWG Triplex boat cable is commonly used for AC circuits in boats and recreational vehicles. It is an ideal choice when looking at multiconductor boat cables. Pacer Group manufactures 16 AWG triplex cable in the USA for longevity and easy installation. How is that accomplished It starts with finely stranded tinned copper conductors. These conductors prevent corrosion and also allow the cable to be flexible.

Another important aspect of triplex boat cable is the insulation. The PVC insulation is designed specifically for protection from moisture and fatigue. These conductors also allow the cable to be flexible. Flexibility is essential when working in enclosed marine spaces. The PVC insulation is designed for protection from moisture and fatigue. It is created during the extrusion process. The extrusion process for this cable fills the voids between the conductors. This process eliminates any possibility of moisture or air build up in the wires. To make it even better, talcum powder is coated on the wires. This is done to allow for the easy removal of the jacket during installation.

The Pacer 14/3 AWG Triplex Marine Cable is designed for reliable electrical connections in boats and recreational vehicles. Crafted with finely stranded, tinned copper conductors, this cable offers excellent flexibility and resistance to corrosion. Its multiconductor design simplifies wiring in confined marine spaces, making installation straightforward and efficient. The cable's tough PVC jacket provides protection against moisture, abrasion, and fatigue, ensuring durability in demanding environments. During manufacturing, the extrusion process fills the voids between conductors, preventing moisture and air buildup that could compromise performance. Additionally, a talcum powder coating on the conductors facilitates easy jacket removal during installation, saving time and effort. This triplex cable is UL Standard 1426, U.S.C.G 33 CFR part 183, and complies with ABYC E-11.16, certifying its suitability for marine applications. Rated for 600 volts, it withstands exposure to acids, alkalis, gasoline, oils, and moisture, making it an ideal choice for various marine electrical systems. The flat jacket shape allows for neat routing and easy handling, with color-coded conductors (black, green, white) for simplified wiring. Whether for powering appliances or lighting, this cable combines flexibility, durability, and safety to meet the rigorous demands of marine environments. Sold as an individual 500-foot roll, it provides ample length for large projects or multiple installations, ensuring reliable performance over time.

Features:

  • Stranded, tinned copper conductors for flexibility and corrosion resistance
  • Color-coded black, green, and white conductors for easy identification
  • Tough PVC jacket provides moisture, abrasion, and fatigue resistance
  • Highly flexible design ideal for confined marine spaces
  • Easy to strip and route during installation
