Description

16/2 AWG Duplex Cable - Flat Cable - Red/Black - 100

Duplex Boat Cable is used in low voltage AC applications as well as DC circuits. Pacer manufactures 16 AWG Duplex boat cable in house in the USA for the best quality. First, the cable is built from finely stranded, Type III tinned copper conductors. These conductors allow for flexibility and help to prevent corrosion.

The PVC jacket helps 16 AWG Duplex Boat Cable to be flexible while preventing moisture from accumulating. How does it do that During the extrusion process, the spaces between wires are filled. This leaves no space for moisture or air to accumulate. After that, a talcum powder coating is given to the interior wires. This coating is used to allow the outer jacket to be easily removed. Just another reason 16 AWG Duplex boat cable is perfect for marine use.

Pacers marine wire exceeds the requirements and standards of UL, ABYC, and NMMA.

The Pacer 16/2 AWG Duplex Flat Marine Cable is designed for low voltage AC and DC circuits on boats and marine applications. Manufactured in the USA, this cable features highly flexible, color-coded insulation made from durable PVC, ensuring ease of installation and reliable performance in harsh marine environments. The cable's extruded exterior insulation prevents moisture ingress by filling the spaces between wires during the extrusion process, making it ideal for use in wet conditions. The interior conductors are constructed from finely stranded, tinned copper, which offers excellent flexibility and corrosion resistance, supporting long-term durability in marine settings. A talcum powder coating on the conductors facilitates easy stripping, enhancing installation efficiency. This duplex cable is compliant with UL, ABYC, and NMMA standards, surpassing industry requirements for safety and quality. It is rated for 600 volts and operates effectively across a temperature range of -20°C to 105°C, suitable for various marine electrical systems. The cable's resistance to acid, alkali, abrasion, flame, gasoline, oil, and moisture ensures reliable performance in demanding conditions. The 16/2 AWG gauge provides a balance of current capacity and flexibility, making it a versatile choice for marine wiring projects. Whether used for powering accessories or connecting systems, this flat cable provides a secure, corrosion-resistant connection that meets rigorous standards, ensuring safety and longevity.
