Description

6/2 AWG Safety Duplex Cable - Flat Cable - Red/Yellow - Sold By The Foot

Duplex Boat Cable is used in low-voltage AC applications and DC circuits. Pacer manufactures 16 AWG Duplex boat cables in-house in the USA for the best quality. First, the cable is built from finely stranded, Type III tinned copper conductors. These conductors allow for flexibility and help to prevent corrosion.

The PVC jacket helps the 16 AWG Duplex Boat Cable to be flexible while preventing moisture from accumulating. How does it do that During the extrusion process, the spaces between wires are filled. This leaves no space for moisture or air to accumulate. After that, a talcum powder coating is given to the interior wires. This coating is used to allow the outer jacket to be easily removed. This is another reason the 6/2 AWG Duplex boat cable is perfect for marine use. Pacers marine wire exceeds the requirements and standards of UL, ABYC, and NMMA.

The Pacer 6/2 AWG Safety Duplex Flat Marine Cable is designed for low-voltage AC applications and DC circuits in marine environments. Manufactured in the USA, this cable features finely stranded, Type III tinned copper conductors that provide excellent flexibility and resistance to corrosion, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions. The dual conductors are housed within a durable, extruded PVC jacket that prevents moisture buildup by filling the spaces between wires during extrusion, making it highly resistant to water and environmental elements. A talcum powder coating on the interior wires facilitates easy removal of the outer jacket, simplifying installation and maintenance. This cable is ideal for marine use, exceeding UL, ABYC, and NMMA standards for safety and quality. Its flexible, color-coded insulation enhances ease of identification and installation, while the stranded tinned copper conductors meet ASTM B172 Class K specifications for durability and conductivity. The cable's resistance to acids, alkalis, abrasion, flames, gasoline, oil, and moisture ensures long-lasting performance in harsh environments. Designed with a 600-volt rating, this duplex cable is rated for applications requiring reliable electrical connections in boats and other marine vessels. The flexible PVC insulation operates effectively within a temperature range from -20°C to 105°C, making it suitable for various marine conditions. Sold by the foot, this product allows for customized installation lengths to meet specific project requirements, providing both convenience and cost-efficiency. Whether for new installations or repairs, Pacer's marine-grade duplex cable offers safety, flexibility, and durability in a compact and easy-to-handle design.
