Description

6/3 AWG Triplex Cable - Black/Green/White - Sold By The Foot

6 AWG Triplex boat cable is commonly used for AC circuits in boats and recreational vehicles. It is an ideal choice when looking at multiconductor boat cables. Pacer Group manufactures 16 AWG triplex cables in the USA for longevity and easy installation. How is that accomplished It starts with finely stranded tinned copper conductors. These conductors prevent corrosion and also allow the cable to be flexible.

Another important aspect of triplex boat cable is the insulation. The PVC insulation is designed specifically for protection from moisture and fatigue. These conductors also allow the cable to be flexible. Flexibility is essential when working in enclosed marine spaces. The PVC insulation is designed for protection from moisture and fatigue. It is created during the extrusion process. The extrusion process for this cable fills the voids between the conductors. This process eliminates any possibility of moisture or air buildup in the wires. To make it even better, talcum powder is coated on the wires. This is done to allow for the easy removal of the jacket during installation.

The Pacer 6/3 AWG Triplex Marine Cable is designed for reliable power distribution in boats and recreational vehicles. Crafted with finely stranded, tinned copper conductors, this cable offers excellent corrosion resistance and flexibility, making installation in tight marine spaces easier. The multiconductor design includes color-coded conductors—black, green, and white—to facilitate safe and organized wiring connections. Its tough PVC jacket provides robust protection against moisture, fatigue, and environmental hazards commonly encountered in marine environments. During manufacturing, the extrusion process ensures the conductors are insulated thoroughly, preventing moisture and air buildup that can lead to corrosion or electrical faults. Additionally, a talcum powder coating on the wires allows for easy jacket removal during installation, streamlining the process for technicians and DIY enthusiasts alike. This cable’s flexible nature coupled with its durable insulation makes it suitable for complex routing in confined spaces, ensuring a secure and efficient electrical system. The Pacer 6/3 AWG Triplex Cable meets UL Standard 1426, U.S.C.G 33 CFR part 183, and ABYC E-11.16 compliance standards, confirming its suitability for marine applications. Rated for 600 volts, it resists acids, alkalis, abrasion, flame, gasoline, oil, and moisture, providing peace of mind for demanding marine electrical systems. Sold by the foot, this cable is ideal for custom installations, offering versatility and high performance in a durable, easy-to-handle package.
