Description

8/3 AWG Triplex Cable - Black/Green/White - 500'

8 AWG Triplex boat cable is commonly used for AC circuits in boats and recreational vehicles. It is an ideal choice when looking at multiconductor boat cables. Pacer Group manufactures 16 AWG triplex cable in the USA for longevity and easy installation. How is that accomplished It starts with finely stranded tinned copper conductors. These conductors prevent corrosion and also allow the cable to be flexible.

Another important aspect of triplex boat cable is the insulation. The PVC insulation is designed specifically for protection from moisture and fatigue. These conductors also allow the cable to be flexible. Flexibility is essential when working in enclosed marine spaces. The PVC insulation is designed for protection from moisture and fatigue. It is created during the extrusion process. The extrusion process for this cable fills the voids between the conductors. This process eliminates any possibility of moisture or air build up in the wires. To make it even better, talcum powder is coated on the wires. This is done to allow for the easy removal of the jacket during installation.

*Sold as an Individual

The Pacer 8/3 AWG Triplex Marine Cable is designed specifically for demanding marine and recreational vehicle applications, providing reliable power transmission in enclosed spaces. Crafted with finely stranded, tinned copper conductors, this cable offers excellent flexibility and corrosion resistance, making installation easier in tight and complex environments. The three color-coded conductors—black, green, and white—aid in quick identification and proper wiring, ensuring safety and efficiency during setup and maintenance. The tough PVC jacket is engineered for durability, offering protection against moisture, abrasion, and fatigue, which are critical factors in marine settings. During manufacturing, the extruded PVC insulation fills the voids between conductors, preventing moisture and air infiltration, while a coating of talcum powder facilitates easy stripping during installation. This triplex cable is rated for 600 volts and designed to withstand exposure to acids, alkali, gasoline, oil, and moisture, ensuring longevity in harsh conditions. It complies with UL Standard 1426, U.S. Coast Guard regulations, and ABYC standards, making it a trusted choice for safety and performance. Whether used for AC circuits or other power needs on boats and RVs, this cable's high flexibility and easy routing streamline installation processes, reducing labor time and potential errors. Sold as an individual, the 500-foot length provides ample coverage for extensive wiring projects, combining quality, durability, and ease of use in a single product.

Features:

  • Stranded, tinned copper conductors for corrosion resistance and flexibility
  • Color-coded conductors for easy identification
